UKs Largest Single Mental Health Specialist Selects RiO

CSE Servelec has been awarded a seven year contract to supply its RiO Care Records system to the St Andrews Group of Hospitals. With headquarters in Northampton and hospitals in North London and Essex, the St Andrew’s Group of Hospitals is one of the largest independent providers of specialist services for people with mental disorders, learning disabilities and acquired brain injury in the UK.

After an extensive selection process involving both administrators and clinicians, the Group chose RiO because of its extensive functionality, flexibility and easy of use. RiO will be deployed across all sites as a single electronic care record for the Group providing improved patient care and increased productivity.

St Andrew’s, ‘a not for profit charity’, has built a strong reputation for its diversity of specialist mental health services and RiO will play a key role in supporting both clinical and business processes for each division within the Group. The Group has a reputation as an innovator of new treatment approaches, specialist tertiary services and unique care packages and where required RiO will be deployed to support new workflow driven services and performance reporting to support the Group’s extensive clinical and corporate governance requirements.

CSE Servelec’s latest success follows the implementation of RiO at many Mental Health Trusts & PCTs throughout the country, such as Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust’s Forensic Services (including the DSPD unit at Rampton), Somerset Partnership NHS & Social Care Trust, East Elmbridge & Mid Surrey Primary Care Trust and the 5 PCTs in Leeds.
