Somerset Rolls Out Paperless Mental Health Case Record

Somerset Partnership NHS and Social Care Trust has commenced roll out of it's Mental Health/Social Care EPR across Somerset. The roll out follows a trial period, by clinical staff, of CSE Servelec's web based Clinical Information System, RiO.

RiO has been used across the Partnership for the past 9 months for Inpatient Management, Mental Health Act Administration and Appointment Scheduling. This new phase of the project sees the use of RiO by clinical and social care staff and the replacement of paper notes, including prescribing and administration of medication.
