RiO Users from Across the Country Attend
National User Group Meeting
RiO users, from across the UK, recently travelled to Sheffield for the RiO National User Group meeting hosted by CSE Servelec.
Major users of the RiO Care Record system who attended the event were provided with a mix of developments, product news and networking opportunities.
A complete program of presentations and discussions were organised for the day, with CSE Servelec's Director of Healthcare Systems, Sue Hawkswell, initially providing delegates with an update of the company and CSE Servelec's vision for the future.
User Group Chairman, Andy Harewood from Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, said "It was good to meet up with other RiO users across the country to hear about the implementation and development of RiO within other healthcare providers and share good practice and ideas. We were pleased to see, and provide feedback on, some of the functionality planned for the next version of RiO. We are grateful to CSE Servelec for hosting the RiO National User Group."
RiO is one of the world's most advanced clinical information systems. It is used by tens of thousands of clinicians across the UK and is part of the NHS National Programme for IT.
RiO is developed entirely in the UK by CSE Servelec.
CSE Servelec has over 30 years experience in engineering high quality software systems and a 15 year track record in delivering healthcare systems that have a significant impact on quality of patient care and on the performance of healthcare organisations.
The next national RiO User Group meeting is to be held in November 2008.
