RiO – Clinical Care Information Management System

Sheffield based CSE-Servelec Limited have developed RiO, a Clinical Information System, for use in all areas of health and social care. RiO is a single unified electronic patient record (EPR), based around an enterprise workflow engine, enabling Trust Clinicians to record, schedule and message information about their clients along agreed pathways, without the need for paper.

RiO assists both Clinicians and Administrators in their work via its revolutionary range of features. Real-time ‘To-Do Lists’ guide Clinicians through their workflow process, alerting other team members to instances of a patient being referred or discharged. Clinicians are thus fully informed of patient status at all times.

RiO is a totally patient centred EPR, which promotes multi-disciplinary working through effective sharing of information. The powerful security embodied by RiO ensures total confidentiality for patient protection and user-friendly navigation allows instant access to clinical data to assist Trust staff in their daily work. The system intuitively works with the user, minimising the need for training and support and therefore streamlining the whole process.
