Hammersmith and Fulham PCT Goes Live with
National Care Record System

Following the early success at Barnet PCT, BT the Local Service Provider for London working with the NHS London Programme for IT, quickly followed this with the deployment of RiO at Hammersmith and Fulham PCT.  After the successful implementation within their podiatry, nutrition and dietetics and district nursing services, Hammersmith and Fulham went live in July with RiO’s Child Health functionality.

By using RiO, the trust’s district nurses are able to proactively plan their team caseloads and have instant access to up to date information, which improves the level of care for patients and allows district nurses to refer people to other community services.”

In the first three months of operation the system supported over 2000 new referrals.

So far, six London trusts have implemented RiO with a further thirteen trusts undergoing training from teams of RiO Specialists.
