CSE Servelec to Partner TrakHealth in Community Wide Electronic Record for Guernsey

The States of Guernsey and TrakHealth chooses CSE Servelec’s RiO Care Records System as part of an integrated community-wide electronic record for the States population.

The introduction of an electronic health and social care record represents a major programme of business change and IT modernisation.  It will potentially impact nearly every facet of health and social care delivery, whether provided by Health and Social Services Department staff, by clinicians working with the department or in the private sector.

TrakHealth, an InterSystems company, has been awarded a ten-year contract by the Health and Social Services Department in Guernsey for the supply of an integrated Health and Social Services electronic record in support of comprehensive health and social care services in Guernsey and Alderney.  For the social service, community and mental health elements of their solution TrakHealth has teamed with CSE Servelec for the provision of RiO.

RiO is one of the worlds most advanced clinical information systems. It is used by clinicians across the UK, including tens of thousands of NHS staff in London as part of the NHS National Programme for IT.
