London Programme Deploys RiO to Fifteen Trusts in Ten Months

CSE Servelec has announced that its RiO care record system has been successfully deployed to 15 NHS trusts across the Capital in the past ten months.

The rapid deployment programme started with Barnet PCT in March 2006 and most recently went live in January 2007 at Greenwich PCT.

RiO, which is provided as part of the NHS London Programme for IT , is now being used by half of the capital’s mental health trusts and one third of its PCTs.

Over two-thirds of PCTs and mental health trusts in the region are expected to be live by summer 2007 with the new national NHS care records service.

The RiO product combines patient administration with advanced clinical functionality such as assessment and clinical noting.  RiO is a web based system with a highly intuitive interface through which care professionals can plan, schedule and record the treatment received by patients in their care.
